The SWAR-2EX is a wireless communication system designed for mine rescue operations, facilitating communication between rescue teams in mining excavations and the operation manager on the surface. It includes battery radio nodes for creating a temporary wireless network, radiotelephones for audio communication, and an optional fresh air base station. The system supports monitoring of operation and component positions, radiophone tracking, and offers various alarming functions, ensuring continuous operation for up to five days on a full charge.
The SpellCom system by Sybet International is a wireless underground communication setup, specifically designed for use in caves or similar environments. It includes MiniNodes for establishing a radio communication network and mPhones for audio communication. The system supports up to 100 MiniNodes and unlimited radiophones, with capabilities for localization, remote supervision, and extended operation modes for prolonged network activity. Additionally, an extended setup can monitor phone locations, battery levels, and provide complete wireless infrastructure oversight.
