Whether it’s on a blast-hole drill, a truck operating underground, or areas with corrosive substances like potash, ExcelSense cameras maintain clear, uninterrupted visibility with minimal intervention.
These cameras are particularly valuable for vehicles and fleets, offering 24V cable compatibility for trucks and mobile equipment, along with PoE+ support, adapter kits, and AC to DC support. Their adaptability extends to both IP-based networks and analogue systems, ensuring easy integration with various setups.

1. ToughEye 3100: This model is designed for the most hazardous environments, including explosive atmospheres. ToughEye 1700 (V2): ExcelSense’s most popular product, the 1700 V2, is lighter, smaller, and more flexible than its predecessor, making it an ideal solution for industrial fleets and mobile equipment. The 1700 is also equipped with a patented self-cleaning mechanism, which prevents contamination from abrasive substances like salt, oil, and dust without the need for compressed air or fluid refills. 3. ToughEye 1000: A non-cleaning camera, the 1000 provides a reliable, low-cost option for environments where cleanliness is not a primary concern but robust, high-definition visual monitoring is still required.

Sensor Shield: The Sensor Shield combines ExcelSense’s cleaning technology with compatibility for third-party cameras, giving operators the flexibility to use existing systems while benefiting from ExcelSense’s maintenance-free cleaning capabilities. This add-on can be mounted onto any camera, extending its lifespan and ensuring continuous visibility in dirty environments.
These products feature customizable lens angles, and with 128GB of storage, they offer between 7-28 days of recordings depending on usage. This eliminates the need for frequent memory swaps and ensures continuous operation over long periods, a key requirement for many industrial applications.

One of ExcelSense’s standout features is its patented self-cleaning technology, inspired by the human eye. Just as our eyes remain clear in dusty environments, the ToughEye cameras utilize a reconditionable optical micro-surface that prevents contaminants from bonding to the lens. This micro-surface is renewed through an internal process, ensuring that contaminants like dust, mud, salt, and oil are safely separated from the lens without scratching it. This unique innovation allows ExcelSense cameras to operate without the need for fluid refills or compressed air, making them maintenance-free for many years.
Operators can trigger cleaning cycles through several convenient methods, including software network commands, internal timers, web interfaces, or even manual electrical pulses. This versatility ensures that ExcelSense cameras remain clear and operational no matter how extreme the conditions.
